1. Take Horseshoe Bay Ferry to Departure Bay in Nanaimo (Approx 1 hour 40 mins).
2. Drive Highway 1 to Duncan, then turn onto Highway 18 to get to Lake Cowichan (Approx 1 hour).
Route Two:
1. Take Tsawwassen Ferry to Duke Point in Nanaimo (Approx 2 hours).
2. Take Highway 1 to Duncan, then turn onto Highway 18 to get to Lake Cowichan (Approx 1 hour).
Route Three:
1. Take Tsawwassen Ferry to Swartz Bay in Sidney (Approx 1 hour 35 mins).
2. Drive Highway 17 into Saanich, turn onto Mckenzie Ave, then turn onto Highway 1. Continue to Duncan, then turn onto Highway 18 to get to Lake Cowichan (Approx 1 hour 30 mins).
